Good beats, more energy.

So, lets see here.
The beginning starts off nice, then comes, what I think, cymbols, which give it a nice beat. Closing to a minute, the extra primary beat gives it a nice rhythm. So, it does start off good. The pause from the primary beat gives the song a good break, although it needs more energy to it.
Well, you have good patterns and combination of beats, but the beats should have more energy. It would sound like a good battle song though.

DJ-Shinobi-1 responds:

yeah they sounded stronger but as the saying goes MP3 compression sucks on music.

Very nice

The first part of the song was very relaxing, and the beats were simple yet nice.
I think this song would actually be a nice loop, because of the beginning and end are identical. After midpoint in the song, the thunderous guitar was nice, but it sounded off tone a little. The guitar needs to be more clear.

WWEfan responds:

Thanks for that. Now that I think about it the guitar isn't the clearest. I can see how it is off tone a little and I'll try not to make mistakes for that.

Tetris remixes..

Tetrix remixes make everyone audio artist look good.
I've heard them over and over, and this is pretty good. I've seen better obviously, but this one is still great.
I wounldn't even talk about patterns because Tetris has a great pattern.
You beats fit in great with the song and it's a pretty simple beat which...well, could be improved because of all the other Tetris remixes here have simple beats.

BowserThedestructive responds:

Thanks :D in V2 ill make it just has good and little less simple..and try to fit in some chaotic nes into somehow'''___'''

AWESOME

Yes, finally, your the only 10/10 I gave today.
The beats are insane here, the patterns are mad, beat combination runs wild here with energy.
Your patterns have a good rhythmic tone to it and follow a good line.
The faded ending is a nice finish.
You GF is gunna be amazed.

Envy responds:

Thanks! I hope she is, thats what I'm counting on.

And if I get her to OK it, I'll see if she'll let me post the full version here when i finish it.

Too mixed up

Yes, the solo is much better than this.
The guitar and the percussion wasn't bad, but they didn't go along with each other.
The guitar lows were pretty bad, and it sounded like it had some bad frequency.
Just keep working on your guitar and fix the lows.

Stickfire responds:

I hate to break this to you...
But this is the FL Slayer. Not real guitar.
I wish I was that good.

Nice.

The nice solo guitar was pretty amusing. The sudden lows and highs were the only problem in the song.
And at 00:30 I could swear you were playing the beginning to Fur Elise.
The guitar was also a bit scratchy and at times it seems you were just doing it out of your head doing something random.
At some parts, you had a good rhythm and it sounded like you planned it out.

Stickfire responds:

It DOES sound like Fur Elise.
It was random. For most of it I just laid out random notes until I got it to sound good.
If it sounds planned, that's because it's not a real guitar, FL Slayer.
:P
If I was that good, then I would be a tenth member of Slipknot by now.

Whoa nice

Wow, this really is a nice mix of beats here. It has a nice uplifting dance beat along with that sound there that really has a good morning-feeling. Your patterns don't get too repitive which is nice, though, dancing to this..well I can't really imagine what dance would fit this song.
Also, it doesn't have a mysterious feeling to it, which is good because this is a dance song.

Liau responds:

I have trouble categorising my stuff to be honest, my styles are such a mish-mash of genres that I just try to put something that fits with it ^^
I'm glad you enjoyed it! and hopefully one day I'll finish one of these half made things :D
oh and the drums are only tempory samples :P lots of tinkering to be done before completion :P

Good theme, but screeches

It does have a good relaxing space theme, but that thing that keeps going "OOOO...ooooo" has a pretty high pitch it almost sounds like screeches. It needs a lower pitch.
This would be a good background space game flash.

Dark-Frando responds:

You'll hate me for saying this but I'm not exactly sure what part you are referring to, but if it's the one I think you are talking about then I tried that. When I did change it, it gave the song a different feel to it which edged away from what I really wanted.

Thanks for your input though, everyone's entitled to their opinion ^_^

Good combining

The combination of your sounds mixed really well with the song. I wouldn't say it gave me a dark feeling, but it certainly was a mysterious feeling.
At 1:22 that added instrument was great to the mysterious feeling of the song.

wyldfyre1 responds:

I agree most deffenatly. I was going for something dark but i can see the mystery in the song. It works out either way i mean i'm happy if any of my songs give a emotion or feeling or even tell a story =). Thanks for the interview =)

Reviewing it!

Okay, so you have some great simple beats there. But it actually did get repititive.
I did think you were going to use the same instruments over and over, but at half time, you added some more nice beats there, but those were a little repitive.
I think if you got rid of that sound that sorta sounded like tapping and replace it, you could of set a good calm and relaxing mood and a better song.

wyldfyre1 responds:

I knew this would get the repetitive complaint because its some of my earlier work that i just fixed up and added some voice samples to. However who knows i may redo some more of this and add it again. We'll have t o see =). Glad you at least found it nice enough to give it a 8 =) thanks much! Feel free to check out more of my stuff. Especually some of my newer stuff. Much love and thanks for the review!
